Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and foundation work
- Install and operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers)
- Construct structural frameworks using steel, concrete, and timber
- Apply finishes including drywall, flooring, and painting
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
- Maintain project cleanliness and waste management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid NYC construction worker license
- Proficiency with power tools and heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to job sites
