Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and securing materials
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and power tools safely
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and assist with framing and finishing work
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise project execution
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and masons
- Report safety hazards and maintain accurate project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with power tools and construction machinery
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
