Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including framing, concrete pouring, demolition, and finishing work
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on complex projects
- Inspect materials and workmanship for quality compliance
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience or trade apprenticeship completion
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow complex instructions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- New York State driver's license (required for equipment transport)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
