Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and technical plans to execute precise construction tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, welders) with material prep and installation
- Perform quality control checks and report project progress to supervisors
- Adhere to local building codes and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math/measurement skills and blueprint reading ability
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for overtime and weekend shifts
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) preferred
