Responsibilities
- Execute precise construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with OSHA-certified proficiency
- Implement strict safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Read blueprints and technical schematics with 95% accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-trade teams (electricians, plumbers) on integrated projects
- Maintain clean, organized job sites exceeding OSHA standards
- Complete daily progress reports and material inventory logs
Qualifications
- 3+ years verified commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Valid DC driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Blueprint reading and basic math proficiency
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, welders)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across DC/MD/VA
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
