Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project execution
- Ensure strict adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion
- Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory of tools and materials to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications
- 5+ years of verifiable experience as a licensed electrician
- Valid Michigan state electrical license (journeyman or master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using diagnostic tools
- Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and local building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
