Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in compliance with NEC and local regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for residential/commercial projects
- Perform diagnostic testing, inspections, and repairs to ensure system efficiency and safety compliance
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Train apprentices and junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
- Document work orders, maintenance reports, and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience with valid Journeyman Electrician license
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training required
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and using diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with energy-efficient systems and smart technology integration
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
