Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures per NEC and NYC codes
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for complex projects
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular system inspections
- Lead apprentice electricians and provide on-the-job training
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Master/Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Expertise in reading technical drawings and building codes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
