Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NEC and California Title 24 standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of commercial and residential projects
- Prepare detailed electrical schematics and technical documentation for client approvals
- Implement rigorous safety protocols and conduct site inspections to maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory and order materials for optimal project efficiency
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices in best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (C-10)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical systems and controls
- Strong understanding of energy-efficient lighting and renewable energy systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
