Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with NFPA 70 and California Title 24 standards
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on complex projects
- Ensure all work meets OSHA safety protocols and city inspection requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and city officials
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman certification
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience with energy-efficient systems and smart home technology
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
