Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to execute complex wiring projects
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and DC regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical failures using advanced diagnostic tools
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Conduct safety inspections and implement preventive maintenance protocols
- Manage client relationships and provide expert electrical consultations
Qualifications
- Valid DC Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, industrial controls, and energy-efficient installations
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and using diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
