Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NFPA and California Electrical Code
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to plan installations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices to ensure project quality and safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to project timelines and requirements
- Perform load calculations, circuit design, and energy efficiency assessments
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for assigned projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience with valid California Journeyman Electrician license
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid certification required
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor control systems, and PLC troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage multiple project timelines
- Strong knowledge of energy-efficient lighting systems and smart home technology
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends for emergency calls
