Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for system installations
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance on water heaters, boilers, and piping systems
- Provide exceptional customer service with clear communication and professional conduct
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of materials used
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale plumbing projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid District of Columbia plumbing license or ability to obtain immediately
- Expertise in pipefitting, fixture installation, and system diagnostics
- Familiarity with DC plumbing codes and permit requirements
- Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude
- Physical capability to handle tools, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
