Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Future State Reports with quantitative and qualitative scenario modeling
- Design strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing breakthroughs
- Facilitate executive workshops translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Champion innovation culture by embedding future-thinking across all departments
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with data-backed confidence
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite advisory role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic publications
- Ability to synthesize complex data from diverse disciplines (economics, sociology, tech)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
