Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities/threats through 2030
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework for organizational alignment
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and innovation pipelines
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing operations and market positioning
- Author thought leadership reports and scenario planning documents for stakeholder audiences
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions addressing future market needs
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and socio-economic indicators for early warning signals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic foresight methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Track record of driving organizational transformation through future-oriented initiatives
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
