Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, forklifts)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material installationMaintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task completion
- Perform basic demolition, concrete work, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
