Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise execution
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA standards
- Support carpenters, masons, and other trades with essential tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Report safety hazards and maintain site security
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction tools and terminology
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
