Responsibilities
- Perform general site preparation including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and equipment operation
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprintsMaintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Report safety hazards and maintain compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
