Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including material handling, demolition, excavation, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Erect scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Maintain organized, OSHA-compliant work environments
- Assist skilled tradesmen with complex tasks as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
