Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, trenching, and material handling on active construction sites
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with site preparation and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Assist in erecting scaffolding, temporary structures, and site fencing
- Perform daily site cleanup and waste disposal
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or heavy labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment operation
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are mandatory
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must possess own basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, etc.)
