Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and laying out materials
- Operate heavy machinery including jackhammers, forklifts, and concrete saws
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans accurately
- Manage inventory and order construction materials as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Ability to pass mandatory background check and drug screening
