Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and earthwork operations using heavy machinery and hand tools
- Construct and install concrete forms, rebar, and structural components
- Operate power tools including saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment safely
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and waste disposal
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure seamless project coordination
- Document daily progress and report any site hazards or concerns
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of verified construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and power equipment
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards
- Ability to read construction documents and follow complex instructions
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check
