Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Safely operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Transport materials to designated locations using carts, forklifts, or manual methods
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with crew leads to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction or manual labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Kansas City metro
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
