Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation under supervisor guidance
- Assist in site preparation including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Construct and install temporary structures, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and machinery safely
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, levels) preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
