Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and maintaining safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate material usage and installation
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and install scaffolding under supervision
- Perform routine site cleanup and waste management per OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous outdoor tasks
- Valid state ID and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided on-site)
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently
- Preferable: 1+ years of construction or warehouse experience
