Responsibilities
- Excavate, load, and unload construction materials using hand tools and machinery
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation and cleanup
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, etc.) safely under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Assist in setting up and breaking down job sites
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work flexible hours (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- No felony convictions (background check required)
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to travel between Minneapolis and Illinois sites
