Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material hauling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with site prep and cleanup
- Maintain safety compliance and adhere to OSHA standards
- Load/unload trucks and organize construction materials
- Complete daily site inspections and report hazards
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Participate in emergency storm response duties as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, levels, saws)
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Tampa Bay area residency preferred
- Construction safety certification a plus
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
