Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients for project coordination
- Train apprentices and junior electricians on safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Kentucky Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong diagnostic skills with troubleshooting experience
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and testing equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
