Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Lead teams on complex projects while maintaining safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients
- Maintain detailed project documentation and safety records
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and power distribution
- Strong knowledge of NEC and Detroit municipal codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
