Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with contractors on multi-site projects
- Document work orders, maintain equipment logs, and prepare safety reports
- Participate in emergency response calls for critical power outages
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Master or Journeyman)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, circuit installation, and power distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
