Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and power tools safely
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols on all job sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Perform daily site cleanup and debris management operations
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise task execution
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year verifiable construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Flexibility to work extended hours during critical project phases
