Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, levels).
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by following OSHA safety regulations.
- Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradesmen, including framing, drywall hanging, and painting tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring that materials are used correctly and that work meets quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat/cold).
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for reliable candidates.
- Safety Mindset: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
- Valid ID: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
