Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, etc.) with precision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, masons)
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
- Participate in pre-construction planning meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills
- Experience with power tools and heavy equipment
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Flexibility to travel between San Diego and NY sites
