Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (training provided)
- Maintain safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Report hazards and maintain organized work areas
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Basic English communication skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites in NYC
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
