Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general site prep.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all company safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and project instructions.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in site preparation duties.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license (a plus, but not mandatory).
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety rules strictly.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but we train motivated candidates.
