Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general site preparation.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools at job sites efficiently.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, tamping, cleaning, and hauling debris.
- Operate basic construction machinery and equipment safely under supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Physically demanding role: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA 10/30 preferred but not mandatory).
- Willingness to work part-time hours on short notice and during peak seasons.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a team structure.
