Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts, jackhammers) with proper certification
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons)
- Read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Assist in material handling and inventory management
- Participate in project-specific training and skill development
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must possess basic tools (hard hat, steel-toe boots, measuring tape)
- PA driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Experience with blueprint reading and material estimation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
