Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior staff with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Equipment Handling: Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and correctly.
- Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- System Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and repair electrical faults in various systems.
- Material Preparation: Prepare and organize materials and supplies for daily jobs.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. We teach you the rest.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic for measuring and calculations.
- Work Ethic: Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn the trade.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
