Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, lighting, and power distribution.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment at job sites to ensure efficient workflow.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Site Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wearing appropriate PPE, and maintaining a safe work environment for the team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and vehicles clean and in good working order, reporting any necessary repairs.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and providing updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: None required. We are looking for raw talent and willingness to learn.
- Driver’s License: Valid, clean driver’s license is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of arithmetic and measurement.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable.
