Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts and installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations during all job site activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades personnel to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for billing and inventory purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
