Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Michigan Electrician License (or reciprocity for Ohio)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor controls, and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights/weekends for emergency calls
