Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Lead junior electricians on complex projects and provide mentorship
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients for seamless project delivery
- Document work activities, maintain safety logs, and submit progress reports
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon state electrician license (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and Portland municipal codes
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces/heights
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Emergency response experience preferred
