Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Locate and mark positions for pipes, fixtures, and equipment, and cut openings in floors and walls to carry pipes.
- Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges and air testing equipment to ensure system integrity.
- Perform emergency repairs and maintenance calls to minimize downtime for clients.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in New York (or willingness to relocate to Texas).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting, welding, drainage systems, and water heaters.
- Ability to read and understand technical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for job site travel.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in tight spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
