Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Install and remove scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers)
- Read blueprints and follow precise technical specifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation and installation
- Document daily progress and maintain site cleanliness
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry, or carpentry preferred
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
