Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural framing
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers)
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trade professionals
- Assist in material handling and inventory management
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- New York State Driver's License with clean record
- Proficiency with power tools and hand instruments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
