Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Assist skilled tradesmen in plumbing, electrical, and framing operations
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout shift
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with team to meet aggressive project deadlines
- Support emergency response during weather-related construction delays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
