Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and NFPA safety standards
- Coordinate with facility managers to minimize operational disruptions
- Document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Provide emergency response during critical system failures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman certification
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting 3-phase systems, VFDs, and PLCs
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with power distribution systems preferred
