Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, tool management, and equipment operation
- Follow precise blueprints and instructions for site preparation and project execution
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under direct supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Document daily progress and report any safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid government-issued ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible availability
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
