Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (training provided)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Support carpenters and other trades with basic construction tasks
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and sustained physical activity
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid ID
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, boots, etc.)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Charlotte metro
- Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
