Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding job progress and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (NY or IL).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical plans and diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks, including lifting equipment and climbing ladders.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
